Voice as Movement with Peter Sciscioli
Tuesday, October 20th at 7 pm at BeWell Marquette
Come explore ways to express your voice through moving your body.
We’ll begin the session with a movement warm-up that connects breath to the body, then explore how vocal vibration creates resonance in different areas of the body. We’ll shape breath and sound with the throat, tongue, teeth, and lips to speak with greater ease, and sing while moving to expand resonance. We'll uncover the benefits of this practice in itself and as a tool for expressing ourselves more fully in the world.
