Join the Rotary Clubs of Marquette and Alger County On World Polio Day, October 24th

Rotary has been working to eradicate polio worldwide for more than 40 years. We’re closer than ever—and on World Polio Day, we’re coming together to help finish the job.

11:00 AM — Walk to End PolioJoin us for a community walk from the The Marquette Theater near Mattson Park to the Marquette Regional History Center, where Marquette’s fascinating connection to the fight against polio—including locally manufactured wooden iron lungs—is part of the story.

All day long- Pints for Polio- Patronize local breweries who will be donating a portion of each purchase to the End Polio Fund.

6:00 PM — Pumpkins Against PolioHoliday Inn of MarquetteEnjoy hors d’oeuvres, music with a DJ, door prizes and fellowship while supporting Rotary’s effort to end polio worldwide.

Tickets: $35 in advance | $40 at the doorAdmission includes hors d’oeuvres and one drink ticket.
