RECONNECTING OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH A SHARED LOVE OF THE ARTS

I Hear the Caw by Lindsey Heiden Clay, Fabric, and Paint On display in the Deo Gallery from February –
This exhibition explores the call of home. A feeling of grounding and belonging that transcends any single place. Through a recurring crow that shifts into hybrid forms such as crow-fox and crow-rabbit, the artist reflects on the evolving nature of identity and the many homes we create throughout our lives.
Using mixed media and materials drawn from a long-cultivated “visual library,” the artist constructs layered scenes where painting, sculpture, and found objects merge to form new worlds. Each piece opens a window into an ongoing search for comfort, memory, and connection, inviting viewers to consider their own sense of home.
