This exhibit explores relationships and the living edges that form as they intersect, attach, and pull in unexpected ways.
Detritus Mine by Ruby Andromeda Miller
Sculpture and Mixed Media, Deo Gallery
On display June – July 2025
The work began while the artist was clearing multiple family properties after a significant death—an event that shifted long-held connections between land, memory, and kinship. Through this process, the artist followed the nonlinear paths of grief, the weight of obligation, the sting of regret, the persistence of hope, and the steady pulse of love. Through object, story, and time, these forces linger like ghosts—present-day imprints over what was, could have been, or should have been.
